Kleinia petraea 또는 Senecio petraeus로도 알려진 Möbius succulent는 카나리아 제도와 모로코가 원산지인 식물 종입니다. 다년생 다육식물로 높이 30cm, 너비 50cm까지 자란다.


이 식물은 뫼비우스 띠를 발견한 수학자 아우구스트 뫼비우스의 이름을 따서 뫼비우스 다육식물이라는 이름이 붙은 독특한 꼬인 줄기를 가지고 있습니다. 줄기는 두껍고 목질이며 거칠고 비늘 모양이며 작고 살이 많은 잎으로 덮여 있습니다. 잎은 회록색이고 줄기를 따라 쌍으로 자라며 대칭적인 모양을 보입니다.


Möbius succulent는 줄기 끝에 무리 지어 피는 작은 데이지 같은 꽃을 만듭니다. 꽃은 일반적으로 노란색 또는 흰색이며 달콤하고 꿀 같은 향기가 있습니다. 식물은 늦여름과 초가을에 개화합니다.
